Instructions for Use
Description
Tetric Ceram HB is a light-curing, radiopaque composite
specifically designed for the restoration of posterior teeth.
Tetric Ceram HB cures with light in the wavelength range of
400–500 nm (blue light). The heavy-body consistency of
Tetric Ceram HB facilitates the establishment of properly
shaped proximal contact areas.
Composition
The monomer matrix consists of Bis-GMA, urethane
dimethacrylate and decandiol dimethacrylate (19 wt%).
The fillers are composed of barium glass, Ba-Al-fluoro-
silicate glass, ytterbium trifluoride, highly dispersed silicon
dioxide and speroid mixed oxide (81 wt%).
Additional contents are additives, catalysts, stabilizers and
pigments (0.8 wt%).
The total content of inorganic fillers is 81 wt% or 63 vol%.
The particle size ranges from 0.04 to 3.0 µm.
