3. Immediately after inflating, raise the pressure
rapidly to around 320 mmHg so that the quick-
action air release valve triggers opening the
pressure circuit.
4. Wait until the pressure has fallen to 0 mmHg
and then raise the pressure to about 100
mmHg. The unit is now in test mode, the
current pressure values are then shown in the
display regions: SYS, DIA and PUL.
5. Carry out error testing of the pressure reading
in the normal manner.
6. Perform leak testing in the usual fashion
bearing in mind the settling time of two minutes.
7. Switch off unit and reconnect the cuff to the
unit.
C) Security
For security purposes the two parts of the
housing are joined together with a security
