6 Disposal

6.1 Metal, electrical and electronic parts

Parts of the unit are valuable materials and can be recycled. Approved and certified recycling
companies exist for this purpose. Metals must be sorted and delivered separately to a disposal
company.
Please consult your responsible refuse disposal authority for how to dispose of unusable parts in
an environmentally responsible way (e.g. electronic scrap):
For EU countries only:
Do not dispose of electric tools with domestic waste. In accordance with European Direc-
tive 2002/96/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its implementation as
national law, electric tools that are no longer serviceable must be collected separately
and utilised for environmentally compatible recycling.
