CLEANING AND STORAGE
Replace the disposable plastic cap after each use to ensure an accurate reading and avoid
cross infections.
In case multiple consecutive measurements are taken on the same patient, clean the probe plastic cap (2)
with a soft cloth moistened with medical alcohol.
The probe lens (8) is the most delicate part of the thermometer. Use with care during cleaning to avoid
damage. If the device is accidentally used without a plastic cap (2), clean the probe lens as:
a) Gently wipe lens surface with a cotton swab or soft cloth moistened with water or medical alcohol;
b) Allow the lens to fully dry at least 30 minutes before attaching a new probe cap.
Always store at a temperature between 10°C to 40°C (50°F ~ 104°F), in a dry place and far from
liquids and direct sunlight. In case extraordinary maintenance is required, apply to the closest retailer.
