2. Mounting
The panel heater is fitted vertically, i. e. with the
connection cable to the bottom. The connection
cable must be securely connected.
To develop the required convection, a 50 mm
gap from the top or underside is necessary.
Thermal safety distance from adjacent com-
ponents, min. 35 mm. If these distances are
kept, ambient temperature does not rise above
65°C.
2.1 Screw fastening onto the mounting surface
(fig. 2.1/fig. 2.3).
2.2 Snap-type fastening onto a 35 mm deep
support rail DIN EN 50 022 (fig. 2.2/fig. 2.4).
3. Mains connection
The unit must be connected to the rated
voltage as stated on the rating plate. The unit
must be connected to the mains via an isolating
device, which ensures at least 3 mm contact
opening when switched off. Due to the specific
characteristic features of the PTC heater
element the switch-on current is 6 A for approx.
1 sec. An anti-surge pre-fuse (gL) is therefore
indispensable. IEC 6100-4-5 requires that the
customer provides safety devices for impulse
voltages of more than 1000 V. The surface
temperature of the aluminium section is
controlled automatically. The unit should be
used together with a thermostat (SK 3110.000)
if enclosure temperatures are to be controlled
precisely. Hygrostat (SK 3118.000) can be
connected to control the humidity of the air

5. Warranty
With correct usage we guarantee this unit for
one year from delivery date. Within this time
the unit will be repaired at no cost or replac-
ed, subject to it being returned to us.
If it is connected or handled improperly the
manufacturer's guarantee does not apply and
in this case we are not liable for any damage
