4.1.2 Pipes with heat tracing
Important!
An overheating of the transducers can result in measurement failures or transducer damages. Observe the minimum
distance between coupling plate and heat tracing, see Fig. 4.3.
The heat tracing must not have any contact to the coupling plate. For the minimum distance between coupling plate and
heat tracing, see Fig. 4.3.

4.1.3 Weather protection for outdoor use
If the WaveInjector is used outdoor, it has to be protected against rain and humidity, especially the coupling plate and
transducer box.
Important!
Protect the WaveInjector against rain and humidity. Use weather protection for outdoor use. Observe the minimum
distances between coupling plate and weather protection.
The weather protection must not cover the WaveInjector completely. At least 2 sides of the weather protection have to be
opened for the exchange of heat with the environment.
None of the parts within the scope of delivery of the WaveInjector must be used for the installation of the weather protec-
tion.
