AutarkSet (Autonomy kit)
Intended use
The AutarkSet (autonomy kit) is used to make the electrical
connection between a socket and the TG 1000 sinus power
inverter.
Only to be used in combination with the ElektrikSet (electri-
cal kit – part no. 40090-23100 – connections shown in grey in
connecting diagram). Can also be combined with the KlimaSet
(air conditioning kit) and the SwitchboxSet (switchbox kit).
– KlimaSet (part no. 40090-25900) – for operating the
Saphir vario or Saphir compact air conditioning unit.
– SwitchboxSet (part no. 40090-26800) – makes it possible
(in conjunction with the KlimaSet and the AutarkSet) to
operate the Truma air conditioning unit (Saphir vario or
Saphir compact) or an external device via a socket.
Important Notes
The 230 V electrical connection must always be made
by an expert (in accordance with VDE 0100, part 721 or
prIEC 60364-7-721, for example, in Germany). The instructions
shown here do not constitute a request for non-experts to
make the electrical connection, but serve as additional infor-
mation for an expert who is employed to do the work!
Please pay attention to the installation instructions for the
TG 1000 sinus power inverter!
The 12 V cables must be routed separately from the
230 V cables (empty tube).
Route connecting cables in such a way that they cannot cha-
fe. Please use the empty tube that is available as an accessory
(part no. 60010-54500). Please also use leadthrough bushings
or edge protection profiles where there are sharp edges such
as metal panel leadthroughs.
The connecting cables and plugs must not be subjected to
force (strain relief). All cables must be securely attached and
must not become loose or disconnected due to vibration – risk
of fire!

AutarkSet connection
Plug 230 V power cable (3 m) into power inverter (a) and
connect to national network connection.
A socket for connecting German equipment is provided
with the AutarkSet. For other countries the socket can be
replaced with sockets that are suitable for the connections in
the country concerned (system 10.000).
Provide a space for the combined socket / control panel in a
clearly visible location (connecting cable length 6 m).

If complete flush-mounted installation of the control pan-
el and the socket (height of socket cover 55 mm) is not
possible, Truma will supply a surface mounting frame
(11 – part no. 40000-52600) as an accessory (height of
surface mounting frame 22 mm) on request.
If the control panel and the socket are to be installed
separately, Truma will supply individual control panel
frames in 8 different colours on request.
Truma will supply side parts (10) in 8 different colours for
finishing off the cover frames.
Drill one Ø 55 mm hole (for control panel – 1) and one
Ø 50 mm hole (for socket – 5) (distance between hole centres
66 mm).
For the socket (230 V) it must be ensured that the rear
socket cover between the wall and the cover frame is
securely fixed and cannot be pulled off whilst the socket is
installed.
Connect plug (2) of control panel cable (4) to control panel (1)
and then connect rear blank cover (3) as strain relief.
Slide cable (7) for socket (5) through the hole and the socket
cover (6) from behind and screw down the strain relief. Con-
nect cable to socket and insert socket into socket cover.
Secure control panel and socket with 4 screws in each case
(8, not included in scope of delivery) and fit the cover frame (9).
Route cables (4 + 7) to power inverter and connect as shown
in connecting diagram.
