1. To slide the sideboards towards the inside or
the outside, first loosen the screws (A, Fig.15)
which are positioned in 6 points: two under
the front sideboard and two on each lateral

sideboard, one on the bottom and one on
the side.
2. Pull the sideboard to the desired position

For engine storage operations, follow the

WARNING!
- Allow to cool hot parts such as the engine
and the gearbox, before storing the
machine in any indoor environment. Be

careful not to touch them. B efore
covering with a plastic sheet, make sure
they are cold enough.
- Place the machine in a covered place, on a
flat, stable surface, with the tank empty
and out of the reach of children.

reassemble the respective caps (4 and 7,

accordance with the rules and respecting

- To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine
and especially the muffler and the tanks
free of grass, leaves or excessive grease.
CAUTION
- Clean the machine thoroughly washing it
with water and dry it. Never use water jets
or solvents to remove dirt. Be careful not
to get water in the air filter and electrical
components; they may be damaged.
- Always lower the transport box.
- Clean up the air filter.
- Check the wear of the engine starter rope.
Prolonged inactivity
If you plan an extended inactivity period (more
than 1 month), follow the instructions in the
engine manual and the start up procedures in
this manual (page 28), which are the same that
are made during the machine normal start up.
WARNING - When you resume work,
make sure there are no fuel leaks from
the tubes, valve and carburetor.
Transporting
WARNING: The machine must not be
driven on a public road.
- To transport the machine, use a suitable
motor vehicle of adequate power and size or
an approved trailer.
- When loading the machine onto the vehicle,
always choose a level area that is away from
traffic and free from potentially hazardous
objects.
