Power supply

Inserting the batteries
Replace the batteries when:
1. the flat battery symbol appears on the display
2. Nothing appears on the display when the ON/OFF/START button is pressed
Note: Batteries are hazardous waste. Do not dispose of them together with domestic refuse.
Applying the armband
1. Connect the armband to the unit.
2. Open the armband, leaving the "Index" end in ring D.
3. Apply armband to left arm. The "OK" interval mark should be turned towards you, whilst the
rubber tube should be positioned in the same direction as your arm. Place the artery mark
Φ on the main arteries (on the inside of the arm) on the upper part of the arm. Tighten the
armband by pulling the "Index" end.
Main arteries
1. Open the battery compartment by
pressing the cover and removing it
in the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert or replace 4 "AA" size batter-
ies in the battery compartment, as
shown in the diagram on the inside.
3. Replace the cover by placing the end
tabs of the battery cover in the slots
on the top of the battery compart-
ment and pushing down the other
end to close the battery cover.
