ROTARY DRILLING (FIG.A)
Depress the safety lock (3) and
rotate the mode selector (2) to the
rotary drilling position.
Fit the chuck adapter/chuck
assembly as described above
"fitting chuck adapter and chuck".
Proceed as described for hammer
drilling. Never use standard chucks
in the hammer drilling mode.
CHIPPING AND CHISELING
(FIG.A)
Before inserting the chisel, depress safety
lock (3) and set the selector mode (2) to
the hammering only position.
Insert the appropriate chisel.
To adjust the head of the chisel to
the desired angle, set the model
selector (2) to the bit rotation
position and rotate the chisel by
hand. Return the mode selector to
the hammering only position.
Adjust the side handle (7) as
required.
Start on the tool and start working.
Always switch off the tool when
work is finished and before
unplugging.
Do not use this tool to mix or pump
easily combustible or explosive
fluids (benzene, alcohol, etc).
Do not mix or stir inflammable
liquids labeled accordingly.
LUBRICATION
Your power tool requires no
additional lubrication.
Always apply a small amount of
grease to the sank of the SDS-Plus
bit before inserting it into the tool
bit holder.
TOOL CLEANING
Unplug the tool before you use a
cloth to clean housing.
With the motor running, blow dirt
and dust out of all air vents with dry
air regularly. Wear safety glasses
when performing this. Exterior
plastic parts may be cleaned with
a damp cloth and mild detergent.
Although these parts are highly
solvent resistant, never use
solvents.
STORAGE
Store your drill in its kit box or with
a bit inserted to prevent dirt getting
into it.
IMPORTANT
To ensure product safety and
reliability, repairs, maintenance and
adjustment (other than those listed
in this manual) should be performed
by authorized service centers or
other qualified organizations, always
using identical replacement parts.
Units contain no user serviceable
parts inside.

manufacturing defect in material or

service center of the brand VITO),
as well as any damage caused by the
