Introduction
To get the most out of your new bathroom
scales, please read through these instructions
before use. We also recommend that you
keep these instructions so you can refer to
them at a later date.

Special safety instructions
Do not expose the electronics in the
bathroom scales to water or damp.
Do not subject the glass plate in the
bathroom scales to heavy blows or shocks.
Use
Place the bathroom scales on a fi xed, even
surface, e.g. tiled fl ooring. The bathroom
scales will not function properly if they are
used on a soft surface, e.g. carpet.
Gently step on to the plate on the bathroom
scales.
The display will be activated. Wait until you
see "0.0 kg" on the display.

Step on to the bathroom scales with both
feet and stand still. After a moment, your
weight reading will be shown on the display.
Step down off the bathroom scales.
The bathroom scales will switch off
automatically after about 10 seconds.
Error messages
If the bathroom scales are subject to a
load of more than 180 kg, the message "oL"
(overload) will appear on the display.
If the batteries in the bathroom scales need
to be replaced, the message "Lo" (low) will
appear on the display.
Replacing the battery
Open the battery compartment in the base
of the bathroom scales. Remove the used
batteries and insert new equivalent batteries.
Check that the batteries are correctly fi tted.
Replace the battery cover. Dispose of the
used batteries in accordance with the
regulations which apply in your area.
