never try to carry out any repairs
on his own.
Leave repairs to a qualified Alto
technician or authorised service
engineer.

> Brush pressure too high
> Large parts have become
jammed under the machine
> String or other parts have
become stuck in the brush
roller
> Side brushes worn

Remedy
• Adjust brush pressure as
described in 2.3
• Remove the jammed parts
• Empty tank
Remove the parts
• Replace side brushes
Replace brush roller
