Only the rear brush roller is in
contact with the floor and is thus
subject to wear.
During replacement, the rear
roller can be replaced by the
front roller.
• Place the sweeping machine
upside down on a suitable
surface.
3.3.6 Replace worn side
brushes
CAUTION!
The central shaft screw fitting
must not be loosened. Replace-
ment of the side brushes is car-
ried out without the use of tools.

3.3.7 Replace drive belts

• Unscrew and remove both
height adjustment
and the roller drivers.
• Lift out the brush roller with
its bearings.
• Pull off the bearings to the
side and push onto the shaft
of the new roller.
CAUTION!
Do not confuse left-hand
and right-hand sides!
• Install the new brush roller in
the reverse order to the re-
moval procedure and adjust
the working height.

• Push the snap retainer in
the centre of the side brush
inwards with two fingers.
• Pull off the brush.
• Press a new brush into the
retainer.
