To avoid voltage drop, the receiver must be installed near to the lighting transformer (TBTS 12V) and a cable of section
2.5mm should be used.
The transformer used must have a power (expressed in VA) at least equal to the sum of the power consumed by the
spotlights connected to it.
If the transformer supplies several spotlights, each spotlight should be supplied via a cable adapted to its power.
Standard NF C15-100 limits the permissible voltage drop to 5%, or 0.6V in the case of the TBTS 12V.
In order to ensure the installation is compliant, and to avoid energy wastage and malfunctioning spotlights, the use of cables
with a sufficient section according to the length required is recommended. The table below will help you find the maximum
permissible distance according to the section of the cable.
