Troubleshooting

If the information in Table 7-1: Trouble shooting guide does not solve the
problem, contact your nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for technical
advice.
Table 7-1: Trouble shooting guide
Error
Pump does not start.
Pump starts but output is insufficient.
Pump does not stop although outlet is
closed.
The pump continues to operate after
the gun trigger has been released.
Reduction of the oil delivery. Or
reduced pressure in the oil delivery.
Air escapes from the air motor when
the pump has stopped under pressure.

Solution
Check air supply.
Check that outlet is not blocked.
Check that the slide driver has not stopped in a middle position.
Check the air motor.
Check that air pressure is not too low is insufficient Check that
pump is not sucking air.
Check that air filter is not clogged with dirt or ice.
Inspect the pump section and make sure there are no foreign
objects in pump valves.
Dismantle the pump section and make sure that seals and valves
are intact.
Check and tighten unions. Repair the leak.
Substitute damaged elements.
Clean or recharge silencer.
Use clean oil.
Substitute damaged elements.
Contact Nederman.
