Automatic
• After you have inserted the batteries, the time data are automatically received from
the DCF77 station after a few minutes. The device searches for a signal whilst the
" " symbol is flashing. If a radio signal has been found, the " " symbol lights up. The
correct time appears on the display.
• During the night, the time is automatically adjusted by the station signal.
NOTE:
• You can make the device search again for a station signal at any time. To do so,
press the WAVE, the symbol " " starts to flash again. You can also deactivate the
automatic search with the WAVE. To do this, repeatedly press the WAVE button
until the " " symbol is no longer displayed.
• The signal can be received without problems within a radius of approx. 2000 km
around Frankfurt / Main, but interference may occur, depending on local conditions.
This may occur especially in buildings containing a high percentage of metal, as
well as in proximity to TV sets, PCs, mobile phones etc. which are switched on!
If the reception cannot be automatically adjusted after 10 minutes in spite of the
alignment of the integrated antenna, the reception in the respective location is too
weak. In this case, set the time manually or change location.

The time cannot be set manually whilst the device is searching for a radio signal.
• In each case, confirm the input with the TIME button. The current indication to be set
flashes on the display.
