4 Assembly [specialist]

The safety set can be assigned to the flow chamber (hot) or to the return chamber (cold).
Distribution manifolds with flow on the right always have the return chamber at the rear
(to the wall).

Distribution manifold turned ("R" to the front), therefore safety set on the left.
Safety set directed forward, therefore connection at the flow chamber.
4 Assembly [specialist]
1. Depressurise the existing modular distribution manifold and drain the manifold.
2. Remove the insulation. Determine the positioning of the safety set (on the right
or left of the distribution manifold, positioned at the flow or return chamber).
Please observe the instructions regarding the positioning (see chapter 3.1).
3. Dismount the lateral cover which will be replaced by the safety set.
4. Make sure that the o-ring is correctly positioned in the groove of the distribution manifold.
5. Fix the end cover by using the enclosed screws of the safety set. Tighten the screws
uniformly. If the safety set shall be mounted on the left side, the pressure gauge of
the safety set must be put from the rear to the front!
6. A connection set for the expansion tank (DN 25: 7507, DN 32: 7508) can be
mounted laterally on the safety set (optional).
7. Fill the distribution manifold, vent the installation and carry out a pressure test.
8. Cut the insulation with an appropriate knife such that the insulation can be mounted.
Mount the insulation.
