Warning:

• Don't use your Caldofà in the presence of any
inflammable substances or vapours such as
alcohol, insecticides, petrol, etc.
• When first running-in your Caldofà, and also
when operating it, do not touch it with your
bare hands; always use proper protection
(heat-resisting gloves).
• Only use your Caldofà for the purpose described in
this booklet.
• Don't sit on your Caldofà or rest objects on it,
because this may cause it to tip over.
• Certain fundamental rules must be observed when
using any electrical appliance, including:
a) do not touch it with wet or damp hands;
b) do not touch it while barefoot.
• After removing the appliance from its packaging,
ensure that it is complete and undamaged.
If in doubt, contact a professionally qualified
electrician or Vortice*. Do not leave packaging
within the reach of children or infirm persons.
• If the wall socket is different from your unit's
electrical plug, have a qualified electrician change
the wall socket to suit your plug. Avoid using
adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension cords.
If you have to use any of these, check to see that
they conform to the existing safety norms.

Before lighting the fire in the fireplace, adjust the
direction of the air outflow as desired. When the fire
is already lit and you want to make this adjustment,
avoid getting your hands burned by wearing heat-
resisting gloves or using the fireplace tongs.

If the fan should accidentally stop turning,
disconnect the plug from the wall and pull out
the motor-ventilator unit. When doing this, avoid
touching the unit with your bare hands by wearing
proper protection. Store the motor-ventilator unit
out of reach of children and infirm persons.
