VEHICLE SAFETY BELT REQUIREMENT (Figure 3A) The child seat can only be installed as forward facing on the vehicle by the 3-points safety
belt. DO NOT use it on the front seat with an airbag. Regulation requirement: This type of seat meets the ECE R44/04 standards and it is only
suitable for use in vehicles tted with 3-point retractor safety-belts, approved by ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
IMPORTANT: Please secure the child seat even when not in use.
USING THE BUCKLE Check the direction of the left and right tongue plates with shoulder belt. Put them together (Figure 4A). Insert the
tongue plates in the slot of the belt buckle at the same time (Figure 4B). Insert until you hear a "click" noise, meaning that it' s well secured
(Figure 4C, 4D).
HARNESS SYSTEM Fastening the shoulder belt: Pull the "harness adjust belt" to fasten the shoulder belts. It is important that they are
properly tightened; normally 2 ngers of an adult should t behind (Figure 5A). Loosening the shoulder belt: Press the harness release
button where marked "press" on the seat cover, then pull the shoulder belts with your other hand to loosen them as much as needed. Stop
pressing the adjustment button when ready to lock the belts (Figure 5B, 5C). Adjusting the shoulder belt: The shoulder belt level should be
adjusted to the height of the child' s shoulders. Take o the shoulder belt from the harness belt connector at the backside of the seat, then
pull out the belt from the shoulder belt channel, and change to another channel that is best suited to t the child' s shoulder level.
Reconnect the belt to the harness belt connector (Figure 5D, 5E, 5F).
USE FOR GROUP I (9–18 KG) Place the child seat rmly on the rear seat with 3-point car safety belt, forward facing (Figure 6A). Draw our
the vehicle safety belt, pass the lab belt through the arm rest, pass the car shoulder belt through the diagonal belt guide, and then draw
through the belts from car safety belt guide to the back of the child seat (Figure 6B). Pass the vehicle safety belt through another side' s car
safety belt guide to the front of the child seat. Draw the belts out from the car safety belt guide through the armrest, and then insert the
tongue plates to the buckle (Figure 6C). Let the child seat t to the car correctly by pressing rmly. Draw back the belts to tighten them
(Figure 6D).
USE FOR GROUPS II AND III (15–36 KG) When the child' s weight reaches 15–36 kg, the seat must be installed and used in the according
manner. Loosen the shoulder belt (Figure 7A). Take o the 3 belt locks under the seat base, which can release the buckle and crotch belts
(Figure 7B). Take o the 2 shoulder belts from the connecter on the backside of the child seat. Then remove the shoulder belts and the
whole harness system from the front side of the child seat (Figure 7C). The status of the child seat after removing the harness system
(Figure 7D) Place the child seat rmly on the rear seat with 3-point car safety belt, forward facing (Figure 7E). Press the headrest adjust
button, then adjust the headrest level to proper level (Figure 7F). The required level is diagonal belt guide, positioned a little higher than
the child' s shoulders (Figure 7G). Draw out the vehicle safety belt, pass the lab belt though the diagonal belt guide, then draw the belts
through another arm rest and connect to the buckle (Figure 7H).
MAINTENANCE
Removing the seat cover: The seat cover can be easily removed after removing the harness rst. Take o the cover from the corner as
shown (Figure 8A). Cleaning: The seat cover can be washed by using neutral soap and cold water. Do not tumble dry or i n the cover. Do
not use a dryer, let only air dry. The plastic parts can be cleaned by using a damp cloth, do not use any solvents.
