3 Assembling the electronic control unit
3.1 9E381=L/R Electronic Control Unit (Fig. 1 to Fig. 4)
1) Plug the connection piece into the Electronic Control Unit (Fig. 1).
Note:
Different gaps between the contacts will help to find the correct
position. Contacts and bushings must be lubricated with 633F11
Silicone Grease!
2) Plug motor cable bushing into the Electronic Control Unit. The letter "L"
must remain visible with a left System Electric Hand. The letter "R" must
remain visible with a right System Electric Hand (Fig. 2).
3) Position Electronic Control Unit on System Electric Hand.
Note:
Do not squeeze the cables! Use tweezers to lay open cables (Fig.3).
4) Tighten solder lug with ground cable and Electronic Control Unit
(Fig. 4.)
5) Restore original control mode (13E185 Function Plug).
3.2 9E408=L/R Electronic Control Unit (Fig. 5 to Fig. 8)
The 9E408=L/R Electronic Control Unit is composed of two parts that have
to be assembled separately.
1) Insert Electronic Control Unit (with on/off button) and fix with counter-
sunk head screw (Fig.5).
2) Attach Electronic Control Unit (with potentiometer). Tighten solder lug
with ground cable and Electronic Control Unit (Fig. 6.)
3) Plug the connection piece into the Electronic Control Unit (Fig. 7).
Note:
Different gaps between the contacts will help to find the correct
position. Contacts and bushings must be lubricated with 633F11
Silicone Grease!
4) Plug motor cable bushing into the Electronic Control Unit. The letter "L"
must remain visible with a left System Electric Hand. The letter "R" must
remain visible with a right System Electric Hand (Fig. 8).
5) Restore original control mode (13E185 Function Plug).
