Note:
Failure to follow the safety instructions given below can lead to
damage to or malfunction of the product.
Only start up the product in accordance with the information contained in
the accompanying documents supplied.
Instruct the patient in the proper use and care of the product. Handover to
the patient without prior instruction is not permitted.
Attention:
The System Electric Hand may be opened or repaired only by an
authorized Ottobock Service Department.
1 Disassembling the electronic control unit
Remove the lock ring of the System Inner Hand, then remove the System
Inner Hand. Remove the bushings from the Electronic Control Unit. Disas-
semble the defective Electronic Control Unit.
2 Checking current consumption
Note:
Check the current consumption only with a fully charged battery!
Check the System Electric Hand's consumption of current with the 757T1
System Tester and 757P2=4 Test Cable by opening the System Electric
Hand to the maximum. The current consumption should be > 1.3 A.
If the current consumption is lower, please contact the Ottobock Myo-Service.
