1. Set the iron in vertical position onto the Heating Base.
2. Move Lock/Unlock switch to the locked position . Lift the iron by the handle to ensure
that it is securely locked onto the base (Figure 2).
3. Keep the iron on the heel rest of the Heating Base when not ironing.
1. Make sure the cord is plugged into a 127 or 220-Volt outlet depending on model (see
last page for details).
2. UNLOCK THE IRON FROM THE BASE by moving the Lock/Unlock switch on the
Heating Base to the unlocked position .
3. For first use, WAIT until the Indicator Light turns solid green; then the iron is ready for
use. Hold iron by the handle and remove from the base (Figure 3).
4. START IRONING.
5. PLACE the iron back on the Heating Base every time you stop ironing.
• The red Indicator Light comes on to indicate the iron is reheating.
IMPORTANT: When using the SHOT OF STEAM feature, your iron might cool down
faster; therefore, it might take up to an additional time to reheat.
NOTE: The Cordless iron is NOT a rechargeable device. You cannot continuously use
this iron without placing it on the Heating Base.
