SELECTING THE IRONING PROGRAM
Plug the power supply cable with plug (7) into the socket.
Turn the ON/OFF switch (5) to ON.
The indicator light of the COTTON/LINEN program (8I) will flash, indicating that the iron is heating up.
Press the program selection button (8B) to select the required program.
The plate temperature LED (11) indicates that the iron is warming up.
Wait until the indicator light of the selected program stops flashing before beginning to iron.
It is recommended that you place a cloth between the iron and the fabric when using the iron
for the first time.
Before starting ironing, direct a jet of steam onto the cloth by lifting the iron slightly so that any
residual condensation comes out.
Fabrics with the following symbols may not be ironed:
IRONING WITH STEAM
Select the required program using button 8g.
The iron will automatically assume STANDARD steam mode. To select ECO mode, press the steam
selection button (8b).
Press the steam request button (13) to iron with steam.
The soleplate temperature LED flashes intermittently while ironing, thereby indicating that the
selected temperature is maintained.
IRONING WITHOUT STEAM (DRY)
If you want to iron without steam, don't press the steam request button (13).

STEAM BOOST

With this function, the product delivers steam continuously.
To activate the "Steam boost" function, quickly press the steam request button (13) three times.
To deactivate the "Steam boost" function, press the steam request button (13) again.
EXCLUSIVE PATENTED WAVE PLATE
The exclusive wave plate patented by Imetec has a special hard anodised coating that gives the plate
surface a satinised appearance. This coating material makes it highly resistant to scratches, and the
wave effect allows it to slide quickly over the fabrics whilst holding in the steam, stretching out the fibres
straight away and making it quick and easy to iron the fabric.
Position the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn the product OFF.
Unplug the power supply cable with plug (7) from the socket.
Wait for the product to cool completely before putting it away.
NOTE: If the appliance is not to be used for several weeks, wait for the appliance to
cool down completely before emptying the water reservoir completely according to the
instructions in the relevant chapter.
When the appliance is switched on again, refill the reservoir as indicated in the relevant
chapter.
EMPTYING THE TANK
Position the ON/OFF switch (5) to turn the product OFF.
Unplug the power supply cable with plug (7) from the socket.
