1 Application
The 4X78 Extension Cable for Charging is to be used solely for transferring
the charging receptacle of the electronic knee joint systems C-Leg 3C98 /
3C88, 3C98-1 / 3C88-1, 3C98-2 / 3C88-2, C-Leg compact 3C96 / 3C86,
3C96-1 / 3C86-1 and Ottobock Compact 3C95 / 3C85 into the ankle area.
2 Safety precautions
NOTICE
Mechanical overloading. Exterior mechanical impact or stress such as
shocks and vibrations can lead to faulty control or malfunction of the
charger extension cable. This makes impossible to ensure an appropri-
ate charging function.
Do not use the Battery Extension Cable if any damage is visible.
NOTICE
Penetration of dirt and humidity. Penetration of dirt and humidity can
lead to faulty control or malfunction of the charger extension cable. This
makes impossible to ensure an appropriate charging function.
Do not allow objects or liquids to fall onto or spill into the charging re-
ceptacle.
