Set wavelength
On the pre-test interface, press GOTO λ (2.2) and input the desired wavelength value by using the numeric key-
pad (2.10) (Fig. 8).
Press ENTER (2.7) to save the input value.

Set parameters
Before performing the quantitative analysis several parameters must be set: concentration unit, number of stan-
dard samples to obtain the standard curve and concentration of those standard samples.
On the pre-test interface, press SET (2.1); the instrument will enter the parameter setting display (Fig. 9).

Select the concentration unit:
- On the parameter setting display, move the cursor with ▼/▲ (2.9) to select Unit and press ENTER (2.7); 8
different units will be displayed (Fig. 10).
- Select the appropriate measurement unit by using the numeric keypad (2.10) or ▼/▲ (2.9) and press
ENTER (2.7).
- If it is not necessary to change the unit press RETURN (2.6).

Input the number of standard samples:
- On the parameter setting display, move the cursor with ▼/▲ (2.9) to select Number and press ENTER (2.7)
(Fig. 11).
- By using the numeric keypad (2.10) input the number of standard samples of known concentration that
will be used and press ENTER (2.7). Note: the equipment allows a minimum of 1 standard samples and a maximum
of 9.
