PNEUMATIC CONNECTIONS
Make sure you always use pneumatic tubes for compressed air with
maximum pressure characteristics that are adequate for the
compressor. Do not attempt to repair tubes if faulty.
ABSORPTION DRYER
Device mounted on compressors to handle compressed air,
consisting of:
copper pipe spiral;
1)
steel pipe containing the dryng materials;
2)
air regeneration tank;
3)
drainage solenoid valve;
4)
OPERATION
The air from the pump (A) enters the spiral (1) and is cooled as it
travels.
It enters the pipe (2) and passes through the salt (whitch retain the
moisture present) on its way to the tank (3) and in the compressor
tank (B).
During this operation the solenoid valve (4) is closed. When the
pressure in the tank reaches the maximum value, the the
compressor stops and the solenoid valve opens.
The open solenoid valve allow the circuit to be released; during this
operation, the dry air contained in the tank (3) passes through the
pipe (2) and frees the salts from the moisture accumulated during
loading, which is drained outside through the solenoid valve.
At this point the circuit is ready for a new drying cycle.
We recommend replacing the salts inside the drier at least once a
year.

MEMBRANE DRYER
FUNCION PRINCIPLE
The membrane dryer contains a bundle of hollow fibres which have a
coating moist selective to water vapour.
The incoming moist compressed air flows through the inside of the
hollow fibres battery.
First the water vapour is adsorbed on the inside of the hollow fibres
from where it moves throug the coated hollow fibre membrane to the
outside.
There the water vapour is desorbed.
The separation from air and water vapour is caused by the partial
pressure difference of the water vapour between inside and outside
of the hollow fibres.
To desorb the water vapour a part of the dried air is expanded to
atmospheric pressure and led to the purge air outlet along the
outside of the hollow fibres.
The pressure dew point reductia rate depends on the one hand on
the volume flow as well as on the inlet temperature on the other
hand.
Lower volume flow or inlet temperature resp. result in a higher
pressure dew point reduction.
MAINTENANCE
The membrane dryer is maintenance free.
It is recommended to clean the pre-filter cartrige periodically (once a
months)
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATIONS
WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE WHENEVER NECESSARY.
