Putting into operation

3.1 Mechanical zero-point adjust-
ment of KTE 1.05/1.06
The instrument pointer must register "0" on
the scales 8/16/32 and the measurement-
mode selector switch must not be set to
"kΩ". The clips must not be connected. If
there are deviations, the pointer must be
adjusted to "0" by turning the zero-point
adjustment screw with a small screwdriver.
3.2

Voltage supply

A commercially available 9 V dry battery,
type IEC6F22, is used as the voltage
source. The dry battery is not included in
standard delivery.

Inserting the battery

To insert the battery open the black rotary
lock with a suitable tool (wide screwdriver
or coin) and remove the cover of the battery
compartment.
