•
ccessing and coming down from the
working platform is not permitted via
any access route other than the access
hatch provided. ccordingly, one should
only go up using the inside of the ladder
sections on the aluminium scaffolding.
The hatch to the working platform should
only be opened in order to climb
through, and should be kept closed at
all other times.
•
No attempt should be made to attach
several aluminium scaffolds together to
create a single scaffold to cover an area
or space, or to act as a load-bearing
element.
•
The aluminium scaffolding must not be
used for works on parts under tension
and on machinery being operated.
•
The aluminium scaffolding must not be
exposed to any aggressive liquids or
gases.
•
If the aluminium scaffolding is being
used on the outside of buildings, then
as far as possible it is to be safety
secured onto the building or onto
another solidly-constructed element.
•
If being used in the open or on open
buildings, work is to be stopped if the
wind increases and/or at the end of the
shift the aluminium scaffolding is to be
moved to an area protected from the
wind, or secured against tipping over
using other suitable measures.
•
The scaffolding is not to be used during
storms, nor in proximity to power-lines.
•
Dismantling of the respective aluminium
ladder scaffolding is carried out in the
reverse sequence to that for erection.
