The aluminium scaffolding should only
be erected and dismantled by persons
familiar with the instructions for erection
and use.

Damaged components must not be used.
•
Only the original components are to be
used, in accordance with the manufac-
turer's instructions. Before being erected,
all parts are to be checked to ensure
that they are in a fault-free condition.

available for use.

The surface on which the aluminium
scaffolding is being erected must be
capable of bearing the permitted total
weight of the scaffold.

The site must be level and free of
obstacles. Wind conditions must also
be taken into account for this.
It must be possible to align the
aluminium ladder scaffolding to within
an incline of 1% from the vertical.
•
The scaffolding is to be erected in
accordance with the instructions for
erection and use.
For model 9477, at least 2 persons are
required to erect and dismantle the
aluminium scaffolding.
•
These persons must be equipped with
suitable work clothing and safety shoes.
Where applicable, excessive leaning
out beyond the edge of the platform is
to be avoided when erecting and when
using the aluminium scaffolding.
•
The diagonal stays and the platform
stays on the working platform must
always be fastened to the rungs on the
ladder or the rung stays, as shown in
the instructions for erection and use.
•
The wing nuts must be screwed hand-
tight during erection.
