10.Radio (Menu 6)
The FM radio uses the wire of the HDS-3 Stereo headset as an
antenna. A compatible headset needs to be attached to the device for the FM radio to
function properly.
Note: Listen to music at a moderate level. Continuous exposure to high volume
may damage your hearing.
■ Turn on and off
1. To turn on the radio, at the start screen, select
2. To turn off the radio, press and hold the End key.
■ Options
Note: When you place or receive a call, the radio automatically mutes. Once the
call is ended, the radio switches back on.
With the radio on, press
Turn
off—Turn off the radio.
Save
channel—Save the current station to one of 20 locations.
Automatic
tuning:—Briefly press either scroll key to start the channel search up or
down. Press
OK
when a channel is found.
Manual
tuning:—Scroll to search frequencies in increments of 0.1 MHz.
Set
frequency—Manually enter the frequency of a known radio station.
Delete
channel—Delete a saved channel.
Loudspeaker—Listen to the radio through the speakerphone.
Mono output/Stereo
Stereo output is available through an optional stereo enhancement.
Scroll to an option, and press
Options
to choose from the following options:
output—Listen to the radio in monaural mode (default) or in stereo.

to activate the option or enter its submenu
