Mercedes Sprinter (906)/VW Crafter till 2017

CAUTION!
For safety reasons when drilling, note the location of existing wiring harness-
es, wires and other components, in particular those which are not visible The
respective components are to be fitted so as not to create a risk of injury for
vehicle occupants (e.g. due to sharp edges) and not to impair the function of
safety features!
➤ Attach the drive unit (1) on the
rubber dampers (2). Use nuts (16),
washers (23) and serrated lock wash-
ers (19) for this purpose.
➤ Mount the drive unit (1) below the
vehicle floor.
➤ Mount the control unit (4) on the rear
wall. Use bolts (16.4) and catchment
nuts (16.12) for this.
➤ Mount the battery charger (5) in the seat console (double seat). Use bolts (16.8) for this.
➤ Apply the information sticker (15) to the instrument panel so that it is easily visible.

NOTE
z For vehicles with single seats, fit the battery charger next to the seat con-
sole or alternatively on the rear wall.
z Ensure that the RESET switch is easily accessible when installing the control
unit.
z Ensure the electronic motor is always well ventilated!
z When installing in an enclosed seat console an additional opening may
have to be created!

➤ Remove the seat cover from the passenger seat.
➤ Disassemble the top part of the seat (8 screws).
➤ Remove the driver's seat.
➤ Remove the battery under the driver's seat.
