Never look directly into the la-
ser. Do not turn the laser to-
wards reflecting surfaces, ani-
mals or people.
Only use suitable saw blades for
the ZI-KGS305UG.
Change
immediately.
Blunt saw blades increase the
danger of kickback!
Do not overload the machine.
3 STARTING UP
A T T E N T I O N
FORBIDDEN: Adjustments when
the machine's connected with
the power supply!
Injuries and material damages
by unintentional starting!
So always disconnect the ma-
chine from the power supply
before adjusting works.
Make sure that all the screws,
levers, etc are fastened well and
that loose tools have been re-
moved from the machine before
operation.

Assembly under frame
Components (Fig. B):

Assembly:
Connect the under frame legs (1)
with the upper cross-bracings (4) by
4 screws and nuts (Fig. C).
Now put the under frame extensions
(2) against the under frame legs (1),
so that the holes are above each
other and then stick 4 screws into
the holes of each leg (Fig. D).
Then you have to put the lower
cross-bracing (3) onto the screws
and fasten them. Then put the rub-
ber feet onto the under frame legs
(Fig. E).

Assembly mitre saw
Insert the 2 batteries for the laser
Mount the two work piece supports
Insert the work piece binder
Mount the dust collector bag
Fix the saw on the ground (work
bench / under frame)
3.3
Angle adjustment
Cutting angles are factory setted. For pre-
cision mitre cuts you have to adjust the
angle adjustment on the fence and the
mitre angle. After long operation you have
to control this regularly.
3.3.1
Flat cuts
Set the saw aggregate to the 0° posi-
tion.
Measure the angle between saw blade
side and the fence 90° Should
If the angle differs from 90° you have
to adjust the fences on both sides.
3.3.2
Saw aggregate
Ensure that the saw blade is fastened.
Angle on 0°, mitre angle on 45° (ac-
cording to the scale). For this you
have to loosen the locking lever (12),
tilt the aggregate to the 45° position
and fasten the locking lever again.
Measure between the saw blade side
and the fence 45° Should.
If the angle differs you have to adjust
the saw aggregate by the screw (Fig.
F).
