Troubleshooting tips
In case of malfunction, you can solve many common problems easily.
Problem
The refrigerator won't op-
erate
The doors will not close
completely
Noisy operation
The refrigerator does not
cool sufficiently
The following is not a problem:
• A gentle gurgling sound caused by refrigerant flowing through the pipes.
• Compressor is operating at high temperature.
Requesting assistance or service
If the problem is not caused by one of the items listed above, contact the dealer or an au-
thorized Service Center.
WARNINGS
CAUTION: Risk of fire
• Keep ventilation openings in the appli-
ance enclosure or in the built-in struc-
ture, clear of obstructions.
• Do not use mechanical devices or other
means to accelerate the defrosting pro-
cess, other than those recommended by
the manufacturer.
• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
• Do not use electrical appliances inside
the food storage compartments of the
appliance, unless they are of the type rec-

ommended by the manufacturer.
Possible cause/Solution
• Make sure that the power supply cord is plugged in.
• The drawers are out of position.
• The gaskets are dirty.
• The refrigerator-freezer is not level.
• Make sure that the refrigerator is level and it is not in con-
tact with another appliance or kitchen furniture.
• The door has been opened too often, or it has been left
open for a while. It will take time for the refrigerator to
reach its set temperature.
• Make sure the air circulation at the rear of the refrigerator
has not been reduced due to insufficient clearance.
• The appliance must be unplugged after
use and before carrying out user mainte-
nance on the appliance.
• Children should be supervised to make
sure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.
• Dispose of the unit according to local
regulations for it use flammable blowing
gas and refrigerant.
• Before you get rid of the appliance,
please take off the doors to prevent child
entrapment.
