fraying of the strap, malfunction of the buckle, cracking
or crumbling of the inner liner, cracking of the shell,... In
this case, contact your dealer to check or replace your
helmet.
ADJUSTING AND USING
THE MICROMETRIC BUCKLE (fig. 1)
1. First, adjust the length of the strap by rolling it through
the plastic adjustable strap (A)
2. To close the buckle, insert the ratcheted tongue (B)
into the casing (C). When you hear a "click", the
buckle is closed. The multi-notching allows for minute
adjustments in order to obtain perfect comfort and fit
with the buckle
3. If necessary, go back and repeat Step 1
4. To open the buckle, pull on the red strap (D) and draw
back the ratcheted tongue using your other hand
INSTRUCTION - DOUBLE D BUCKLE:
TO FASTEN AND OPEN THE CHIN STRAP (fig. 2)
1. Fasten the chin strap by passing the end of the strap
through the 2 rings as shown on picture A, then pull it
comfortably tight for a secure and snug fit.
2. To remove the helmet pull the little red tab outwards,
the strap tension will be released as shown on picture
B. Then unthread the chin strap.
Warning ! – The red snap placed at the end of the chin
strap must NOT be used instead of the Double D buckle.
It has been designed to avoid the chin strap flapping in
the wind at high speed.
WILL IT STAY ON? (fig. 3)
You want to know the helmet you buy will stay firmly on
your head in a crash. Make sure the chinstrap is done up
and tilt your head forward. Ask someone to try and roll
the helmet off your head by carefully pushing up from the
rear of the helmet at its base. If you can roll it off in the
showroom, then it's sure to come off in a crash.
HOW TO RELEASE
AND REPLACE THE SCREEN (fig. 4)
Release the screen :
• The shield must be in the upper position(A)
• Unlock the left side with your left hand by pushing the
lever down and take the shield out of its casing by
pulling towards the outside of the helmet (B).
• Do the same on the right side.
Replacing the screen :
• While in upper position, bring the visor's jagged parts
in front of the corresponding casing on the helmet and
push the rear plastic tooth in (C, D).
• Push the lever downwards and use your thumb to push
the whole mechanism in (E).
• Let the lever go, your shield is fitted on the left side (F).
• Repeat on the right side.
Check that all is working correctly by opening and
closing the shield a few times.
HOW TO USE THE INTERNAL SUN VISOR
ON YOUR HELMET (fig. 5)
• The control button for the internal sun visor is located
on the left hand side of the helmet, behind the visor's
plate. Only use this button when you are stationary
and always use your left hand
• To lower the internal sun visor, push the control
button up until it stops (G)
• To raise the internal sun visor, push the control button
down until it stops (H)
Warning: never drive with the internal sun visor in the
lowered position at night or in case of poor visibility.
Always remember to raise the internal sun visor early
enough before entering a tunnel or on a dark or shady
road.
HOW TO CHANGE THE INTERNAL SUN VISOR
ON YOUR HELMET (fig. 6)
• The main visor must be in the open position (I)
• The sun visor's button must be in the upper position
(J)
• Hold the internal sun visor on one side and pull hard
to extract the visor of its fixation (K). Repeat the
operation on the other side
To replace the visor:

• Hold the main visor in the open position (L)
• The sun visor's button must be in the upper position
(M)
• Slide the visor's right hand side end on the casing
located under the shell side, until you hear a click,
indicating it is snapped correctly (N). Ensure the visor
correctly located inside the casing's drawer
• Repeat the operation on the left hand side
• Ensure the mechanism is working properly by moving
the control button up and down
HOW TO REMOVE AND PUT BACK
THE CHEEK PADS IN YOUR HELMET (fig. 7)
• Remove the chin curtain before starting this operation
(O, P).
• The cheek pads are fixed sideways wtih Velcro and 2
snaps and at their base with a plastic lip that is inserted
between the EPS and shell (Q).
• Remove the Velcro and then the two snaps, pull to
remove the pad from the shell (R).
Putting back the pad :
• Put the plastic edge between the shell and the EPS and
adjust the right fitting between the chin cover and the
rear cushion (S, T). The plastic edge needs to be fixed
into the red plastic piece on the EPS (U).
• Align and press the two pression buttons and put the
Velcro on its matching part on the EPS. (V)
EMERGENCY "QUICK-RELEASE" PROCEDURE (fig. 8)
IMPORTANT ! This procedure is exclusively for EMS.
• Put two fingers in the red pouches on the front of the
cheek pads (W).
• Pull towards the outside in order to fully unhook the
cheek pads (X).
HOW TO REMOVE AND REPLACE
THE HEAD PAD ON YOUR HELMET (fig. 9)
• Pull and tear the front head band to release the 4
snaps (1)
• Pull the neck cushion to unsnap the 2 press studs (2)
• Remove the entire pad from the helmet (3)
To put the head pad back on:
• Introduce the whole head pad inside the helmet
• Snap the 2 press studs of the neck cushion (4)
• Insert the front head band on its location and snap
the 4 fixing clips (5)
• The head pad sets itself easily on its own

ATTENTION
Aucun casque ne peut protéger le porteur contre tous
les impacts possibles.
Pour une protection maximale, le casque doit être bien
ajusté sur la tête, et toutes les sangles de rétention
doivent être solidement attachées. Lorsque la jugulaire
est confortablement mais fermement ajustée, il ne
devrait pas être possible dans la plupart des cas, de
retirer le casque de la tête en essayant de l'arracher vers
l'avant.
Le casque est conçu pour être retenu par une sangle
sous le menton.
Le casque peut être utilisé avec des lunettes.
Ne pas ajouter de pièces ou accessoires qui ne
seraient pas conçus pour le casque, sauf ceux qui sont
recommandées par le fabricant du casque. Ne pas
