Pure wool articles (100%) can be ironed with the iron set to one of
the steam positions. We suggest that pure wool, silk and synthetic
articles be ironed inside out as to prevent the fabric from becoming
shiny.
Other types of fabrics, especially velvet, should always be ironed in
the same direction (with a cloth) with a light pressure on the iron as
to prevent the shiny effect. Continually move the iron over the article
being ironed.
