5. OPERATION

Before effectuate any measurement, read with attention
the item "SAFETY INFORMATION" and be aware of all
caution informations. Always inspect the instrument, if any
damage, contamination (excessive dirt, oil) and defects.
If any abnormal condition be detected, do not make any
measurement.
A. RPM Measurement
1. Select the function selector to "RPM" position.
2. Press the action key and keep the RPM measurement
adaptor (cone or funnel) pressed gently against the axis
center that you want to measure.
3. Release the action key when the measurement become
stabilized (approx. after 2s).
• Note:
Depending of the axis type, you can use the cone or funnel
type RPM measurement adaptor.
