Possible cause
The spark plug cable is not connected.
The product throws too much snow.
The fuel tank cap is covered with ice or snow.
The muffler is dirty or clogged.
Improper cable length.
The muffler is blocked.
The air intake of the carburetor is blocked.
The choke is in ON (FULL, OPEN) position.
The fuel line is blocked.
There is water in the fuel or the fuel is too old.
The carburetor needs to be replaced.
The belt is stretched.
Some parts are loose. The augers are dam-
aged.
The handles are not positioned correctly.
The adjustment lever nuts are loose.
The starter rope handle is frozen.
The starter rope is interfering with components.
Solution
Connect the cable to the spark plug.
Decrease the speed and the width of
the swath.
Remove the ice and the snow on and
around the fuel tank cap.
Clean or replace the muffler.
Adjust the cable.
Make sure that the engine is cool.
Clear the blockage.
Make sure that the engine is cool.

Move the choke to OFF (CLOSE) po-
sition.
Clean the fuel line.
Empty the fuel tank and carburetor.
Fill the fuel tank with fresh, clean
gasoline.
Contact an authorized service center.
Replace the auger v-belt.
Tighten all fasteners. Replace the
damaged parts. If vibration remains,
contact an authorized service center.
Make sure that the handles are
locked into position.
Tighten the nuts until the handle feels
safe.
Slowly pull out as much rope out of
the starter as possible and release
the starter rope handle. If the engine
does not start, repeat the procedure
or use the electrical starter.
The starter rope should not touch any
cables or hoses.
