c.- Normal / Test mode
In Normal mode, the output signal is modu-
lated with the video and the exterior audio
enters into the A/V connector of the modula-
tor, whereas in Test mode the output signal
is modulated with a video signal generated
internally (two vertical lines on a black back-
ground) and the external audio signal intro-
duced into the A/V connector of the modula-
tor.
5.2.2.- Stereo modulator
a.- Audio carrier level
The menu that appears after pressing the
button lets us vary the main audio carrier
level.
The permitted range of values is from 1 to 8,
which correspond approximately to the rela-
tive values of:

b.- Operating mode
In this modulator, the first menu that appe-
ars lets us modify the operating mode. We
can choose stereo, dual or mono using the
and
buttons.
c.- Audio subcarrier level
The second menu that appears after pres-
sing the
button lets us vary the audio
subcarrier level.
The permitted range of values is from 1 to 4,
which correspond approximately to the rela-
tive values of:

d.- Normal / Test mode
In Normal mode, the output signal is modu-
lated with the video and the exterior audio is
introduced into the A/V connector of the
modulator, whereas in Test mode the output
signal is modulated with a video signal that
is internally generated (two vertical lines on
a black background) and the external audio
signal introduced in the A/V connector of the
modulator.
5.3.- Saving the parameters
To save the data, press the
approximately 3 seconds. If the parameters
have been correctly saved, the digits on the
programmer will begin to flash:
If the configuration parameters are changed
but not saved, the previous configuration is
retrieved after about 30 seconds, in other
words, the changes made are cancelled.
