Switching the Looky on or off:

Keep one of the buttons (1,2) pressed (ca. 3 seconds) to switch
the Looky on. A two-pitched signal will be heard.
When you have the Looky switched on, and it doesn't detect
any movement on the screen, it will switch itself off after
3 minutes. A two-pitched signal will be heard.
When the batteries are empty, the Looky will switch itself
off. You will hear a high pitched tone that fades away.
Folding handle:
The Looky has a foldable handle. This handle can be used in
several positions. When the handle is extended, you can use
the Looky as a magnifi er. The closer you get to the object, the
bigger the magnifi cation will be (from 3x to 8x).
It is also possible to use the Looky with the handle folded in.
The magnifi cation will then be about 8x. This is easier when
you want some stability during the reading of texts.
If you want to alter the magnifi cation, but
are experiencing some problems with
stability, we advise you to use the Looky
Support. This is a convenient tool to
change the magnifi cation and viewing
angle while keeping the stability.
