5.3 Application
CAUTION
Incorrect or excessively tight application

► Ensure that the product is applied properly and fits correctly.

► Do not use the product in case of a known heat allergy.
► Do not continue to use the product if skin irritation occurs.
NOTICE
Improper use and changes
Change in or loss of functionality as well as damage to the product
► Use this product with care and only for its intended purpose.
► Do not make any improper changes to the product.

Cosa Active only: The zip is open.

1) Put on the pants.
2) Fasten the belt and close the zip if applicable.
3) Check the positioning of the pads and readjust them with the cross straps as needed.
6 Cleaning
NOTICE
Use of improper cleaning agents
Damage to the product due to use of improper cleaning agents
► Only clean the product with the approved cleaning agents.
Clean the orthosis regularly:
1) Loosen the cross straps.
2) Open the hook-and-loop closures of the pockets.
3) Remove the pads.
4) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
5) Recommendation: Use a laundry bag or net.
6) Wash the pants in warm water at 40 °C with standard mild detergent. Do not use fabric
softener. Rinse thoroughly.
7) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
8) Put the pads back in the pants.
7 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
