4 | How to use
Carefully screw the spark plug into the spark plug thread on the engine by hand,
using the appropriate spark plug socket. Select a ratchet with 3/8" or 1/2" drive
plus adapter and place it on the spark plug socket. Now tighten the spark plug
with smooth, continuous traction until the mechanism is triggered and the
cracking noise can be heard. At this point, you must not under any circumstances
continue turning. The preset tightening torque has been achieved and the spark
plug has been tightened.
IMPORTANT!
If possible, do not use ratchet joints as they could alter the
torque value.
5 | Storage
Store the Rothewald Spark Plug Sockets with torque release signal carefully in
the supplied storage box, at a relative air humidity of max. 70% (non-condensing).
6 | Cleaning and care
The Rothewald Spark Plug Sockets with torque release signal must not be
dismantled and must not be immersed in cleaning solution for cleaning
purposes. You should clean them with a cloth and, if necessary, some fine oil for
the metal parts. External metal parts can also be protected against corrosion
with a car-polishing wax or preservative wax.
7 | Warranty
This product comes with the statutory two-year warranty. The warranty period
begins on the date of purchase. It does not cover normal wear and tear, use for
anything other than the intended purpose, or damage caused by an accident,
tampering or attempted repairs by unauthorised persons or customer service
departments.
