Important.
When using equipment, a few safety precautions
must be observed to avoid injuries and damage.
Please read the complete operating instructions and
safety information with due care. Keep these
operating instructions in a safe place so that the
information is available at all times. If you give the
equipment to any other person, hand over these
operating instructions and the safety information as

accidents which arise due to failure to follow these
instructions and the safety information.

1. Safety information

WARNING
Read all the safety information and instructions.
Any errors made in following the safety information
and instructions may result in an electric shock, fire
and/or serious injury.
Keep all the safety information and instructions
in a safe place for future use.
The dehumidifier must always be in an upright
position.
Whenever the equipment has been transported
or tilted (inclined positions), leave it for at least
one hour before connecting it to a socket outlet.
The equipment must have approx. 1 m air
clearance above and behind to enable it to take in
sufficient air.
Keep all foreign bodies away from the air inlet
opening and the air outlet opening.
Set up the equipment well clear of heaters or
other heat-generating units.
Never pour or spray water over the equipment.
Never use the power plug to switch the
equipment on or off.
Always use the switch on the control panel.
Before you move the equipment, switch it off with
the Off/On switch, then pull out the power plug
and empty the condensate collector.
Clean the air filter before it becomes heavily
soiled. The equipment works best when the filter
is clean.
Do not use spray solutions or other combustible
cleaning agents on the equipment.
If the equipment displays any malfunctions, pull
out the power plug and contact your customer
service center.
If the power cable for the equipment becomes
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its customer service or similarly

Description of the control panel (Fig. 2)
W.F.: This is the "water full" indicator. It lights up red
when the condensate collector is full.
RH 40%...RH 70%: This is the "relative humidity"
indicator for adjusting the room's humidity. It lights up
green when the range has been selected and the
equipment has been switched on.
Power: This is the power indicator. It lights up red
when the equipment is under voltage and green when
the equipment has been switched on.
Pressure switch (A): This switch is used for setting
the functions: On/Off/Room humidity.

3. Intended use

The dehumidifier is designed only for use in privately
used rooms (e.g. living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms,
storage areas, laundry rooms or basements).
Note:
65% humidity is the upper limit at which the human
body feels comfortable. If it is too warm for the human
body, the humidity level (i.e. water content) is too
high. Humidity and temperature are interrelated. A
relative humidity (RH) of 35 to 65% at 21°C is
generally considered to be ideal.
It is uneconomical to use the equipment at a room
temperature below 10°C or at a room humidity below
40%.
The equipment must be used only for its prescribed
purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of
