CLEANING AND CARE

Warning! Unplug the product and let it cool down completely before cleaning. Never immerse
electrical parts of the product in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the product under
running water.
Remove the oil/fat from the frying vat as described in the FILTERING, STORING AND DISPOSING OF
OIL/FAT section .
Warning! When cleaning, never use solvents or abrasive materials, hard brushes, metallic or sharp
objects. Solvents are harmful to human health and can attack plastic parts, while abrasive cleaning
mechanisms and tools may scratch the surface(s).
Clean the product's exterior surfaces with a slightly damp cloth and then dry them thoroughly.
Make sure that no water enters the product interior (for example, through the switch).
The opened lid can be detached for cleaning as described in the DETACHING THE LID section .
Pull the lid up and out.
First remove the lter from the cover.
Clean the lid and the lter cover with a damp sponge and dish detergent. The lter cover can also be
washed in the dishwasher. Rinse the cover under water and let it dry.
Make sure that the cover and lid and the lter cover are completely dry. Insert the lter back into the
lid and tighten the lter cover. Attach the lid back to the housing of the deep fryer.
Clean the frying basket and the frying vat with hot water and some detergent. The frying basket and
frying vat can also be washed in the dishwasher. Carefully dry the parts completely.
Wipe o the housing of the deep fryer inside and outside with a damp cloth.
Once you have washed all of the parts, re-assemble the product properly.
Attention! The deep fryer must be completely dry before each use.
