ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES
1. ALWAYS use the insulated handles for holding the machine to prevent accidental electrical
shock resulting from cutting a live wire when sawing into a wall or other blind area.
2. KEEP HANDS AWAY from cutting area.
3. ALWAYS USE sharp blades.
4. STAY CLEAR of end pieces that may fall after being cut off.
5. ALWAYS use the correct blade recommended for the material being cut.
6. DO NOT OPERATE the SKD 2902 VV with guide shoe removed (see PIVOTING GUIDE
SHOE Section of this Manual).
7. SOME WOOD CONTAINS PRESERVATIVES WHICH CAN BE TOXIC. Take extra care to
prevent inhalation and skin contact when working with these materials. Request, and follow,
any safety information available from your material supplier.
8. DO NOT ATTEMPT to plunge cut metal.

FOREWORD
The FLEX SKD 2902 VV is designed for cutting wood up to 30.5 cm thick, metal up to 19 mm
thick and various other materials, such as plastics, fiberglass, hard rubber, etc.
TO START AND STOP SAW
1. Make sure power circuit voltage is the same as shown on the specification plate on the
saw. Connect saw to power circuit.
2. Hold saw firmly. Squeeze trigger switch (A) Fig. 1, to start motor. Release trigger to stop
motor.
