the wall thickness as thin as possible. In order to create a high-quality
socket, there must be no air bubbles inside the lamination resin (Fig. 12).
4) Mark the later contours of the socket and fixing holes on the outer socket
and cut free proximally (Fig. 13). Create fixing holes for the inner and
outer socket. Remove the plaster from the inner socket and pull the in-
ner socket out of the outer socket. Remove the 99B83=* Tube Dummy
out of the inner socket.
5) Lay open the socket at the distal end until the 743Y42=* Lamination
Dummy becomes visible. Remove the 743Y42=* Lamination Dummy
(Fig. 14). Grind the outer socket until you have achieved the intended
contours (Fig. 15). Remove the PVA bag.
6) Drill holes into the inner socket for the 29C5=* Setting Nuts. Connect the
inner and outer socket with 503F3=* Saucer Head Screw. Determine the
dimensions of the outlet bore for the 99B13=* PVC Connection Tube.
The 99B13=* PVC Connection Tube is attached to the inner socket in
place of the 99B83=* Tube Dummy. Drill a hole into the outer socket
using a 726W9=* Conical Drill and mount the 99B13=* PVC Connec-
tion Tube (Fig. 16).

The device may only be opened and repaired by authorised Ottobock
technicians.
