Turning the Appliance Off
1. Set the knob into
position to turn the appliance off.
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Installation and Operation of the Kneading Machine
CAUTION:
• Never activate the lever (6) when you have attached
the mixing vessel! The mixing vessel will tip over.
• Never use the kneading machine with attached mixing
vessel.
Unless you have previously used the mixer or meat grinder,
cover the drive shaft of the mixing engine and the spiral
housing with the respective safety cover.
1. Open the swivel arm: Press the lever (6). Move the
arm by hand to the highest position.
2. If you need the splash guard, attach it now to the swivel
arm from below. Hold the splash guard (14) in such a
way that the fill opening is positioned in front of you.
The
symbol and the marker on the swivelling arm
must be aligned with one another. Turn the splash guard
towards to lock it.

Heavy doughs (e. g. bread or short pastry)

NOTE:
Short-term operation: Operate the appliance with heavy
doughs no longer than 6 minutes, and allow the appliance
to cool down for 10 minutes.
Interruption of Operation
WARNING: Risk of Injury!
• Set the knob in the
position.
• Disconnect the power plug if you want to change the
tool.
• Wait for the standstill of the tool!

3. Attaching accessories:
On the top end of the accessories, there is a recess for
the drive shaft and the splint. Slide the accessory over
the drive shaft. Press and rotate the tool simultaneously
clockwise so that the cotter pin of the drive shaft locks
into the tool.
4. Mixing Bowl: Place the mixing bowl into its holder. Turn
the bowl towards to its limit.
5. Fill your ingredients into the mixing bowl.
NOTE:
If you knead heavy doughs, do not put all the ingredi-
ents at once into the mixing bowl. Start the kneading
with flour, sugar and eggs. Add fluids slowly during the
kneading.
6. Press the lever (6) to lower the arm. You must press
onto the arm from above, until it locks into the lowest
position.
7. Plug the power cord into an approved mains socket. The
power indicator light is on.
8. Select a speed using the following table.

WARNING: Risk of Injury!
• If you activate the lever (6) during operation to raise
the arm, a safety switch deactivates the motor.
This safety switch also prevents the appliance from
being turned on after you have lowered the arm again.
To get the appliance working again, set the knob first
in the
position. Then select the desired speed
setting.
Completion of Operation and Removal of the Bowl
1. Set the knob in the
plug.
2. Press the lever (6) down for the arm to lift.
3. Remove the tool.
