6.2 Attaching the thermometer
➤ Attach the holder (fig. 1 3, page 3) to the windscreen with the suction pad.
➤ Screw the thermometer to the holder with the inner thread (fig. 5 1, page 6).

Explanation
In normal mode
 press briefly: to start maximum, minimum and average read-
ings
 press briefly: to switch the display from maximum, minimum
and average readings
 press and hold: to display current readings
In setup mode
 press briefly: to confirm entry ("ENTER")
 press and hold: to switch to setup mode
In normal mode:
 sets the thermal element type
In setup mode:
 increases the value
In normal mode:
 press briefly: to activate zero point offset
 press and hold: to set offset
In setup mode:
 runs through values to the right
In normal mode:
 switches the thermometer on and off
In setup mode:
 reduces the value
 press briefly: to activate and deactivate the difference in
measurements
 press and hold: to swap the display area between T1 and T2
In normal mode:
 press briefly: to activate zero point offset
 press and hold: to set offset
In setup mode:
 runs through values to the right
 press briefly: to select the temperature unit
 press and hold: to activate and deactivate the alarm
