Fault-finding check list

WARNING !
Remove plug from electricity supply before
carrying out any work on the motor unit.
Poor suction:
* Check that hoses and connections are tight.
* Check that hoses are not blocked.
* Check and replace the filter as neccessary.
Motor failure.
* Check the fuses.
* Check the electrical connections.
* Check the carbon brushes. Contact your suppli-
er.
* The thermal fuse is blown. Contact your suppli-
er.

Replacing carbon brushes

Turn off the machine and remove the mains cable.
1 Remove the filter and turn the machine upside
down.
2 Undo the four attach bolts for the machine's
bottom plate.
3 Lift up the bottom plate as well as the silen-
cing kit (3 pcs).
4 Replace the carbon brushes.
5 Re-mount the silencing kit as before. It is very
important that the silencing kit is mounted in
the same way as before, in order to supply
the motor with enough cooling air.
6 Attach the bottom plate again.
Order instruction
When ordering spare parts always state:
- Part no. and control no. (from the type label of the product).
- Part no. of the spare part and the name.
- Quantity of the parts required.
