GENERAL INFORMATION

Before performing any operation on the machine, it is indispensable that you be completely familiar with the entire use
and maintenance manual. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for improper use of the product, for damage caused
following operations not contemplated in this manual or unreasonable interventions.
The submersible motor is designed to be incorporated in another machine. Pursuant to the manufacturer's declaration
putting into service is prohibited until it is established the end product complies with Directive 2006/42/EC.

SAFETY INFORMATION

This symbol indicates that failure to
comply warnings entails the risk of
damage to people and/or things.
Each transport, installation, connection, setting at work, control and eventual maintenance or stop
operation shall be executed by trained and qualified staff. Furthermore, possible local regulations or
directions not mentioned in this manual must be taken into consideration as well.
Tampering with the product is prohibited.
The user is responsible for dangers or accidents in relation to other persons and their property.
Use the motor only for the purposes described in Paragraph 4. Any other use can be a cause of
accidents.
Before executing any operation, the feeder cables shall be disconnected.
Never touch the motor while it is working.
3. TRANSPORT, HANDLING AND INTERMEDIATE STORAGE
Always comply with general and local regualtions in force.
Use suitable means for lifting and transporting the motor: it may be damaged if it isknocked or if it
falls, even if there is no apparent external damage, and it may alsodamage things or persons.
4. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND USE
Description of the product: 4" oil filled submersible motor, completely rewindable. The identification data and technical
characteristics of the motor are shown on the plate attesting to its conformity to CE standards.

Motor protection against overloads: protection have to be provided by the customer and it has to be according to
EN 60947-4-1. Trip time < 10 s at 5 x In.
Application and service: SAER submersible motors can be connected to submersible pumps whose coupling size complies
with NEMA standards, for use in domestic, industrial and agricultural systems for the lifting of substantially clean water.
