IT Cleaning
Power off the Oximeter and remove the
batteries before cleaning. Ensure the
Oximeter is free of dust and dirt. Clean its
surface, including LED screen, using 75%
medical alcohol and a soft dry cloth.
Caution: Avoid liquid entering the
Oximeter's body during cleaning.
Caution: Never immerse the Oximeter
in liquid.
Disinfection
Wipe the Oximeter's rubber pads with a
dry soft cloth dipped in 75% medical
alcohol. The finger to be measured
should also be disinfected using medical
alcohol before and after measurement.

Do not disinfect the Oximeter by
high-temperature, high-pressure, or gas
disinfection.
Maintenance
If the Oximeter will not be used for an
extended period of time, remove the
batteries from the battery compart-
ment.
Store the Oximeter in temperatures
between 14º to 122ºF (-10º to 50ºC)
and humidity no higher than 93%.
Periodically check the Oximeter for
damage.
Avoid using the Oximeter in an
environment with inflammable gases
or using it in an environment where
the temperature or humidity is
excessively high or low.
Check the accuracy of oxygen
saturation and pulse rate readings by
using an appropriate calibration
apparatus.
